As most of you know I am an avid platelet donor- I just hit 15 donations for 2020! Currently in my lifetime, I’ve donated 40 times (this includes platelets, whole blood, and double red donations), I am extremely lucky to be health enough to do this. Unfortunately, not everyone is that lucky and I am asking for my 25th birthday this year to get 25 signed up to donate!
2.6 million people donate each year, there are 328.2 million that live in the USA alone- we can do more by having more people donate! A single car accident victim can require as many as 100 units of blood.
Let’s make 2021 the year to give hope and I hope you choose to start the year with a donation!
