The Red Cross has to collect 15,000 blood donations every day to have enough blood to help patients in 2,700 hospitals and transfusion centers across the country. That’s a lot of patients in need and all of us, coming together, can help ensure patients receive life saving blood.

This year’s annual Flight Fight begins August 1st! Flight Fight is a friendly competition between Bombardier Learjet, Spirit AeroSystems and Textron Aviation to see who can collect the most units of blood (based on percent participation) and help us fight off summer blood shortages! This year’s Flight Fight comes amidst a collections deficit in July. In hopes of closing the gap, we are challenging Textron Aviation to 20 first-time donors!
