The Red Cross has to collect 15,000 blood donations every day to have enough blood to help patients in 2,700 hospitals and transfusion centers across the country. That’s a lot of patients in need.
So once again, we’re holding the Globus Gives Virtual Blood Drive and encouraging colleagues to ‘roll up their sleeves’ and give. Simply pledge to make a blood donation in your local community during the month of June. Donating is easy and typically only takes about 30 minutes, yet that 30 minutes can add precious time to someone else’s life. What a great return on investment!
