Join Carolinas Freedom Foundation, we’ve partnered with the American Red Cross to attain 90 units of blood in honor of our founder, Col. J. Quincy Collins USAF (Ret), who celebrates his 90th birthday on July 4th, 2021!
To kick-off, on July 1st we’ll board an American Red Cross bus with an aim at 30+ units of blood, 1/3 of our goal. We’ll continue collections nationwide until we’ve reached a total of 90 units — one unit for each day of summer when donations run critically low.

The need for blood is constant and only volunteer donors can fulfill that need for patients in our community. Nationwide, someone needs a unit of blood every 2 to 3 seconds and most of us will need blood in our lifetime.
