Ceara, my amazing daughter, has struggled for years with serious medical issues due to underlying autoimmune disease. For the past two summers, Ceara has spent her entire summer in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit at Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta fighting for her life. We are forever grateful to all the anonymous blood donors who gave countless units of blood, plasma, platelets, and IVIG to Ceara, giving her a second chance at life. Even though the approach of spring and summer is a challenge for us emotionally, we choose to make something good out of our struggle. We choose to give back to others like Ceara, by starting this blood drive challenge with our family, friends and community. Our goal is to collect 100 or more pledges for blood product donations between May 3 and July 3, 2021 to help anonymous families facing medical challenges. Can you help us meet our goal?
It is easy to help:

2. Go out and donate – ANYWHERE. Your donation does not need to specifically be to the American Red Cross
