Every two seconds someone in the U.S. needs blood. It is essential for surgeries, cancer treatment, chronic illnesses, and traumatic injuries. The American Red Cross is facing a severe blood shortage due to an unprecedented number of blood drive cancellations during the COVID-19 pandemic. A-TEK has partnered with the Red Cross to host a Sleeves Up Campaign for all employees, their families and friends to give blood. Our goal is to reach 125 donations during this period to commemorate A-TEK’s 25th Anniversary Celebration.
How it works:
1) Pledge to donate through the A-TEK Sleeves Up Campaign between May 10 and July 31, 2021.
2) After you complete your pledge, you will be automatically taken to the Red Cross online scheduling system where you can make an appointment to give blood near you.
3) If you’d like to be featured in the next edition of A-TEK’s Newsletter, submit a photo to [email protected].
4) Share the A-TEK Sleeves Up Donation site with your family and friends!
