Texas MAES would like to help spread the importance of donating blood. The need for blood donations is constant. Texas MAES would like to do our best to help someone whose life might depend on a donation.
According to the World Health Organization, Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, and the American Red Cross, donating blood is safe to do during the pandemic if you follow all guidelines set by your government officials and your blood bank’s guidelines. This includes, but is not limited to, wearing your mask properly, remaining socially distant, and staying home if you feel sick.
If you cannot donate, no worries, just spread the message! According to the American Red Cross, 1 donation can potentially save up to 3 lives.
