As Coronavirus numbers continue to skyrocket this winter, blood donation organizations are suffering from a critical blood shortage. In-person blood drives at schools, workplaces, and places of worship account for 50-80% of all blood donations. Due to social distancing measures, these blood drives have been limited, resulting in the blood shortage. Participating in the Give 1, Save 3 Blood Drive is one way to help ensure there is a stable supply throughout the pandemic. At a time when it is easy to feel powerless or at a loss for how to help your community, one concrete action many of us can take is donating blood.
To participate in the Give 1, Save 3 Blood Drive:
1. Take the pledge. (If pledging from outside the USA, please use G13 for zip code.)
2. Schedule an appointment at your local blood donation center.
3. Spread the word about the Give 1, Save 3 Blood Drive by sharing the link to this page.
4. Respond to the follow-up survey you will receive after pledging.
