My brother, Scot Van Uitert, was just recently diagnosed with Stage 4 Prostate Cancer that has spread to his bones. Over the next few months, he is going to be receiving some intense chemotherapy and radiation treatments as well as more that 300 units of blood transfusions. He has a long road ahead of him but he is a strong man who has a lot to fight for. He is a loving husband of almost 25 years, a father to 6 kids, 4 girls and 2 boys, 3 bonus sons and 1 bonus daughter and a grandpa to 8 amazing grandchildren. He is a husband, a father, a son, a brother, an uncle, a friend, a cousin, a nephew, a co-worker, a neighbor, a religious man, and just an all around GREAT MAN!! He is so young still (will be only 57 next month) and still has so much life left to offer his large family.
