On May 28th, 2020 Cliff’s battle with leukemia came to a close, but he lives on forever in our hearts. Cliff was an inspiration to all that knew him, always going above and beyond with anything he was involved in; work, family, friends, and fighting for his life. Cliff had a positive attitude, “never give up” motto, and endless hope for tomorrow. When someone would ask if there was anything he needed, many times he would reply, “donate blood, I use a lot.” Cliff was my husband, best friend, and my hero. In the 6 years after his diagnosis, Cliff had countless units of blood and platelets; all life saving measures to restore what chemotherapy or leukemia had destroyed!
Cliff was about giving back, paying it forward. That is why this campaign is so important to me. Cliff would have been 59 years old on September 25. In honor of Cliff and his birthday please donate blood, platelets or both. This campaign will come to a close on October 31st, Halloween, one of Cliff’s favorite holidays. Our goal is 59 units!!! PLEASE GIVE IF YOU CAN! IF NOT, PLEASE PASS IT ON!
