In my early 20s I saw on the news that the Carolina Hurricanes were doing a blood drive at the arena. I had never donated before. I decided, What The Hell? A few weeks later, I got my Donor ID card in the mail and discovered I was O+. Since then, I have donated at least 4, if not 5 or 6, times each year. There is no substitute for human blood. Please consider giving a couple of hours of your time to help save a life.
