Ceara is an amazing teenager who has had major health struggles over the past few years. She has received a diagnosis of Ehlers Danlos Syndrome (EDS), which is an extremely rare connective tissue disorder that affects the collagen in her entire body. Ceara is currently fighting for her life in the ICU. Ceara has received countless blood and platelet transfusions, and her mom Beth (my college teammate and dear friend) would like to give back by having this blood drive because they have benefitted from the generosity of others over the years.
