Did you know according to the American Red Cross website, 1 donation can potentially save up to 3 lives? Approximately 36,000 units of red blood cells are needed every day in the US and the need is growing.
Help the Maryland Chapter of Women in Healthcare support our frontline healthcare colleagues and our communities by making an appointment and donating today.
Share your support of The Red Cross by spreading the word with a photo of you giving blood, use our hashtag #MDWomenInHealthcareBloodDrive. Please email us [email protected] your photo and look for it in our next LinkedIn post or e-newsletter. Ask your friends and family to donate also by sharing our campaign link.
To donate you’ll need to set up an account with the Red Cross and then you can schedule your appointment. Please bring a face mask or cover when donating blood.
