Today #TeamNazarian showed up at the American Legion in Panorama City in District 46 to give blood with the Red Cross. Now I am asking my friends, neighbors, and the entire San Fernando Valley to support the American Red Cross by joining my Virtual Sleeves Up Blood Donation Drive!
The American Red Cross provides more than 40% of the nation’s emergency blood supply, and those supplies are running dangerously low because of the COVID-19 pandemic. At this moment, it is critical that we support our health system, and that means making sure they have the blood supplies to treat every patient across our city, state, and country. If you are healthy and able, please donate blood.
The Red Cross is taking amazing precautions to make sure you will be donating in a safe atmosphere. Everyone’s hands are sanitized and temperature checked when they entered. Your temperature will be checked again during the screening/check-in process. The chairs are placed at least 6 feet apart for social distancing and the equipment is sanitized and chairs were wiped down after each donor.
The patients need us. Please donate if you can. It saves lives.
