ASU HEHPSO Blood Drive

6 /25

The Health Education and Health Promotion Student Organization at Arizona State University wants to celebrate National Blood Donor month by hosting this virtual blood drive. Blood donations tend to decline during the winter months due to extra obligations surrounding the holidays and chilly weather deterring donors from venturing out. We hope to change this and increase the amount of donations by collaborating with our friends, families, and peers in each of our unique communities.

Every 2 seconds someone in the U.S. is in need of blood and just 1 donation can save up to 3 lives. Blood donations are needed for surgeries, traumatic injuries, burn victims, organ transplants, and those battling chronic diseases and cancer diagnoses.

We hope that you will take the time to make this online pledge and follow up by scheduling an appointment at your local Red Cross Donation Center.

You can also obtain your blood type information by calling your donation center 3 days after you donate blood!
