Celebrating Ken’s Lifetime of Giving

Celebrating Ken's life of giving by giving the gift of life.
5 /100

Ken was a long time Red Cross volunteer, blood donor and board member. He was deployed to both 9/11 and hurricane Katrina, spending a month at each site. Ken loved being able to help people through his volunteer work. He was involved in the Political Education Committee and 15 other committees! This holiday season help us honor Ken and all that he gave to others. Give the gift of life.

I’m asking our friends and family to make an appointment and donate whole blood or platelets to the American Red Cross through Ken’s Virtual Blood Drive honoring his lifetime of giving. He was a long time donor and while in the hospital he was the recipient of both blood and platelets.

The Ken Roos campaign runs from Dec 1st to December 31st and you can donate at a convenient location; Manchester Donor Center or a mobile blood drive. It’s easy to sign-up for an appointment that’s convenient for you. Here are the steps:

1. Click on the “Pledge to Give Blood” link.
2. Fill in the information and input a zip code that is convenient for you. The Manchester, NH Donor Center zip code is 03104
3. If you currently do not have the Red Cross Blood App, go to your App Store and download the app to your phone and create an account so you can follow your blood donation to its final location.

Every donation can help save up to three lives.

Go SleevesUp and help us reach our goal. Please donate to our campaign!
