On May 23, 2018, my sweet, active, joyful,fun-loving nephew Briggs was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (ALL). He’s just 5 years old.
In just a handful of days he has undergone several platelet transfusions and blood transfusions which would not have been possible without people like you and me taking the time to donate blood.
Thursday, June 14, 2018 is World Blood Donor Day and the following day is his birthday. Please consider rolling up a sleeve in honor of Briggs and all the others fighting this and similar battles. Your life-saving gift is important to so many!
