One blood donation can help save up to three lives. That means a lot to patients in need and that is why the Memorial and Dunn Elementary School are partnering with Pine Tree Home Health Care to create New Gloucester’s largest blood drive event. Students from the two schools are learning about the importance of blood donations and how an adult donor can make a difference in the lives of their neighbors in need of a life saving unit of blood. The students are becoming Pint Size Heroes and asking a parent, grandparent, aunts, uncles or other adult figures in their lives to roll up their sleeves and donate a unit of blood.

Adults can donate at two locations during the week of May 15th.
