This fall, the Harvard Club of Chicago is rolling up our sleeves for a cause that truly matters—and adding a little friendly competition! From October 1 through December 31, we’re competing with other Chicago alumni clubs to see who can rally the most blood donors. The need is urgent: someone in the U.S. needs blood every two seconds, yet fewer than 5% of eligible people donate. Because red blood cells last just 42 days and platelets only 5, hospitals need a constant flow of donations for trauma victims, surgeries, cancer treatments, severe burns, and other critical care. Donating blood is one of the most powerful ways to give back: a single whole blood donation can save up to three lives. Let’s show Chicago what Crimson can do. Roll up your sleeve. Save a life. #GiveCrimson
