King Tyre Lodge No. 292 and Evening Star Chapter No. 228, Order of the Eastern Star, PHA, are sincerely dedicated to improving the well-being, resilience, and health of the Falls Church community. For over 60 years, these groups have committed themselves to serving residents through charitable outreach, educational programs, and initiatives that support families, seniors, and neighbors in need. Our Community Health Fair on May 16, 2026, exemplifies this compassionate mission by offering essential resources, preventive care, and important information directly to those we serve.

This year, it is more important than ever to partner with the American Red Cross. Your mission—to prevent and alleviate human suffering through compassionate action—closely aligns with our core values of service, empowerment, and community support. Together, we aim to build stronger, healthier, and more resilient communities grounded in care and kindness.

Blood donation is a key part of this shared mission. Hospitals rely daily on donated blood to save lives, support patients during surgeries, treat chronic conditions, and respond effectively to emergencies. Unfortunately, the demand for blood often exceeds the available supply. By organizing a blood drive at our Health Fair, we hope to help meet this urgent need while educating our community about the powerful, life-saving impact of regular blood donation.
