Laurie Wombacher Legacy Drive

This campaign is deeply personal to our family. My mom, Laurie Wombacher, fought leukemia for years, and the only reason we were given more time — more memories, more conversations, more moments of love — was because of generous blood donors. Every transfusion, every platelet donation, every act of giving made it possible for us to hold onto her a little longer.

Even at her weakest, she never stopped advocating for others. She encouraged everyone she met to donate blood, platelets, and to join the bone marrow registry. She believed in the power of strangers helping strangers, and she lived that belief with her whole heart.

We’re continuing this campaign in her honor so her voice doesn’t go quiet. By donating, sharing, or spreading the word, you’re helping her legacy live on — and you’re giving another family the gift of more time, just like donors once gave to us.
