In May 2022, Kaitlyn Greenman got out of her car to help at the scene of an accident and was struck by a drunk driver. Over the course of Kaitlyn‘s incident, she required three blood transfusions. Without the blood bank, Kaitlyn would have succumbed to her injuries within the first few hours of the accident. Although the outcome was not life-sustained, we are grateful for the additional few hours we had with her, made possible by generous donors who ensured blood was available when it was needed most.

With gratitude in our hearts and a desire to help others, our family has hosted several blood drives through Olivia and Parker partnering with the American Red Cross. In honor of Kaitlyn, over 200 units of blood have been collected so far.

To help others in need of blood transfusions, whatever their circumstances may be, Parker Greenman is asking the community to schedule an appointment to donate. You never know who you will impact when you have your “Sleeves Up”.
