My late cousin, Ken Harper was the recipient of many units of blood (20 units in the first 24 hours) in valiant efforts to try to save his life in June of 2020. Many members of our family have received many units of blood in the last few years. I have given at least a few dozen units of blood over the years myself. The need never ends!
