Robert “Bob” Shelley, age 79, passed away in his home on December 21st, surrounded by loved ones. In his life he served in the Army during the Vietnam War in a pharmacy at the Madigan hospital. After finishing college, he served as a pharmacist in the Public Health Service. He continued pharmaceutical work in the private sector after retiring from the military.
Bob had a deep love for family, travel, music, and the outdoors; and he felt immense pride watching his children carry on these passions. In recent years, he and his wife enjoyed traveling the West, where he greeted strangers as new friends through his kindness and sense of humor.
Bob helped others throughout his career and life—and we would like to honor his memory by helping others through blood donations. Please pledge in Bob’s honor!
