The NERC Community Engagement + Sustainability EEG Sub-Group invites our colleagues to consider joining our SleevesUp campaign this spring. The need for blood donation is great, and our communities need our help. Consider pledging your support, rolling up your sleeve, and donating blood or platelets. Together, we can all make an impact.
Our goal is to recruit as many pledges as possible by Memorial Day. You don’t need a special reason to give blood. You just need your own reason.
Some of us give blood because we were asked by a friend.
Some know that a family member or a friend might need blood some day.
Some believe it is the right thing to do.
Some do it for the free cookies and juice.
Everyone enjoys the great feeling of helping save lives!
Challenge your friends (or anyone for that matter) to a friendly competition! Who will win the battle to do the most social good for your community?
Put your virtual blood drive campaign against one or even multiple other campaigns to see who can recruit more blood donors for the American Red Cross.
