Here I am with my mom and our dog Buffy, sometime in 1954. As many of you know, I was a preemie– two and a half months early. We both almost didn’t make it, and yet, here I am, 70 years later and going strong!
My grandmother was a lifelong blood donor, which has always inspired me to give blood. And I know that at the time of my birth, my mom required blood transfusions.
