Hi Everyone! We once again are promoting a blood drive in memory of Bob Sessions. Bob received nothing but amazing care throughout his years from all of his amazing health care workers. During his treatments, he received countless blood transfusions. We hope to rally a group of Bob Sessions fans, family and friends, to donate blood to help support the care and treatment of other patients.
We also hope to encourage people to register with Be the Match, an organization that enters people into a registry to help match patients with bone marrow donors for lifesaving treatment. From a BTM swab kit, Danny Gibel matched and in June ’23 was a donor for a leukemia patient! Hero!
Our event will be in person on Friday, November 24th at the Emerald Event Center, 33040 Just Imagine Drive, Avon, OH 44011.
BUT, if you can’t make it to this event, thanks to technology, friends and family from near and far can join the event by donating blood or swabbing to join the Be the Match Registry in their own cities or on their own time throughout the month of November and beyond. Just pledge for Team Bob and pick your own schedule to donate.
