What do you want for your birthday?
I have been asked that a lot over the years. The answer has always been somewhat the same. I am super fortunate as there is not really anything I want, or need. I know that is not the case with everyone so, for my birthday, I want to focus on what people need.
You are getting this as I am asking friends and family, and friends that are family, to consider joining me in a virtual blood drive for my birthday and donating something that is truly needed – blood. In some circumstances, giving blood is giving life.
I cannot think of a better birthday present!
