A little over a year ago, I almost died in childbirth. While delivering my second daughter, I started hemorrhaging and the medical team couldn’t stop it. Although my husband lost count, he estimates that they gave me at least eight units of blood over the course of 12 hours. Without those A positive donors, I wouldn’t be here today.
