I have been donating blood for a couple of years now and find it rewarding to know that my donation is saving someone’s life. I now donate every time that I am eligible. Since the pandemic, there has been a severe shortage of blood donors in the country.
It has become even more important to me because recently our family has experienced a lot of medical issues. Some of us have needed blood that was donated by a kind stranger.
In honor of my 65 birthday, please consider rolling up your sleeve and becoming that caring stranger who saves another persons life. It only takes about 20 minutes.
My goal is to get 25 people to give a pint of blood. Please share this with others as I don’t have much of a social media footprint.
God Bless.
