Isla Austin Elizabeth Barangan was born on September 8, 2022. For 57 days, she fought mightily in the NICU at NYU Langone, sometimes requiring two blood/platelet transfusions each day. Though her journey ended on November 4th, we want to honor her memory through a blood drive that will help other babies/patients. Please consider giving blood and saving a life.
We encourage everyone to give blood through whatever organization is most convenient to them whether it be through New York Blood Center, One Blood or the American Red Cross. We ask you make a pledge on this site so we can try and track Isla’s lifesaving impact.
