When Chrystal Fry was diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukemia in June 2020, she started sharing her story with everyone. She wanted to inspire others and spread hope and awareness. We never imagined that her story would also become a lesson: Be grateful for every moment you spend with your loved ones and don’t miss an opportunity to express how much you appreciate them.

Chrystal always lived life to the fullest. Her laugh was contagious and her love was genuine. She was a wife, mother, daughter, sister, friend, and so much more to so many people. She truly made the world a more beautiful place. Although her courageous battle was lost in May 2021, Chrystal has left a permanent and inexpressible light in all of us through a wound that will never quite heal.

Please help us to continue to spread her light at this year’s #ChrystalsArmy Annual Leukemia Awareness Benefit. Chrystal’s story is a harsh reminder that there’s still work to be done for a cure.

Saturday, August 27, 2022, starting at 12 pm at the Janette L. Gamble Funeral Home: 2842 River Rd, Vandergrift, PA 15690. The event will host Food Trucks, Vendors, Gift Basket Raffles, a DJ in the morning, and Live music.
