2 years ago, Tyc was diagnosed with leukemia. He has completed 2 of 3.5 years of treatment during which he has received hundreds of pokes and chemotherapy infusions, over a dozen lumbar punctures, and beat covid and a bone infection.
Throughout treatment Tyc has received several blood transfusions. They have helped him feel better, given him energy when he had very little, and literally saved his life.
