Show your support by donating in Cam's honor!
45 /50

As most of you know, Cam hit two years of remission in September of 2021. With each scan, the chances of reoccurrence diminished. The two year mark was the milestone he was waiting for, or that was the thought. Cam started to show some of the same signs displayed in the past, so I took him to Children’s ER. On January 31st the fear was confirmed – there was a reoccurrence of a mass, orbital rhabdomyosarcoma. He is very fortunate as it is confined to the previous location, same as before. Treatments will span over a total of 31 weeks, however his treatments will be a bit more aggressive this time around. He will be receiving chemo every two weeks, alternating between a two day regiment and five day. In April he will have a major eye surgery that will create a challenge for him. There will be an adjustment period during this time, but it is a necessary procedure. While undergoing his treatments, Cam will be receiving blood transfusions. Unfortunately, blood donation is at a low. Many have reached out asking how they can help. I am reaching out and asking all of you to show your support by donating in honor of Cam and help others in need around the area. (This is in honor of him, not to him) You can find a donation center or a blood drive in your area through this campaign. Those who know Cam are aware of the strength and courage he had shown during his journey. Thanks to God, the medical staff, the support of the local community, organizations around the area, friends, and family, he was able to overcome his hardship. Now is your chance to show that support again. Thank you for all the thoughts and prayers. We may not always understand God’s plan, but my faith is in Him and the people He has blessed with the knowledge and skills to help Cam through this journey once again. Thank you all in advance for the things you have done and will do to be there for him as he fights the fight!
