Welcome to the 2nd annual ‘Sleeves Up’ Campaign in honor of Catherine Holman Thornton. Starting Valentine’s Day, I am hosting a month-long Virtual Blood Drive to encourage friends and family of my sister to donate blood. Did you know that one one single blood donation can help save up to three lives?
Catherine was a regular blood donor, and over the years routinely donated her blood/plasma to the American Red Cross/Mississippi Blood Services. She always did what she could to help others—even those she did not know. Since Valentine’s Day is all about love and March 8th is her birthday, this is the perfect time of year to honor her loving spirit and helpful heart! We will never be able to bring our beautiful Cat back, but we can do our best to try and help others in need just like she did. Thank you in advance for donations and for all the continued prayers for our family.
