Raj was an incredible person. From his laughter and silliness as a child to his kindness and compassion as a young man, he did not go a single day of his life without making the world a better place. For the last two years we have searched for ways to continue his legacy, and work to brighten the lives of loved ones and strangers alike, just like he did.
Springtime is a difficult time in our household. March 27th will mark 2 years since we lost Raj’s light, and April 15th would have been his 22nd birthday. This year, we want to acknowledge this time and honor his memory by hosting a virtual blood drive. If Raj made a positive impact on your life and you want to pay it forward, or if you simply want to join us in keeping his spirit alive, we invite you to register with this campaign and sign up to give blood at your local Red Cross. One pint of blood can save up to three lives, and we hope that by hosting this campaign, we can help Raj continue to make a difference in this world.
They say it takes a village to raise a child. The last two years have taught us that it also takes a village to mourn one.
From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for being a part of our village.
All our love,
Samir, Rashmi, and Pooja Mehta
