The nation is currently in a critical blood shortage – the worst it’s seen in over 10 years. Patient care has been put at risk. Doctors have had to make difficult decisions on who receives a blood transfusion and who will need to wait until more blood becomes available. The American Red Cross is in urgent need for blood and platelet donations. We can help.

In honor of National Blood Donor Month, the Columbia MD chapter of Jack and Jill of America is partnering with the American Red Cross to host our first ever Virtual Blood Donation Drive. We would love if you could join us in our pledge to donate blood! Our goal is to reach 100 pledges to donate by Monday January 31st! It is easy to participate. Click on the red “Pledge to Give Blood” link. Enter your information and sign up to donate at the location and time slot that is most convenient for you! In addition, the Red Cross is running a special incentive for a limited time only.
