HealthNet Aeromedical Services challenges you to roll up your sleeves and donate blood to help replenish blood supplies in our region. Because we carry blood on every aircraft, our program depends on your donations so we can supply life-saving blood when our patients need it.
Right now, the American Red Cross has an emergency blood shortage. The Red Cross national blood inventory is the lowest it’s been at this time of year since 2015, with less than a day’s supply of certain blood types in recent weeks.
The COVID-19 pandemic has also kept our program from holding our quarterly blood drive, so we’re going virtual to continue our support of the Red Cross. Help us reach our goal of getting 50 people to pledge to donate!
