For his Bar Mitzvah project Solomon has chosen to host a virtual blood drive. In 2017 Solomon’s Baubie Teri was diagnosed with Ovarian Cancer. Over the next 4 years Baubie Teri fought valiantly, he battle ended in Dec 2020. In the 4 years she needed many blood transfusions to keep up her strength and to be able to get treatment. He local hospital and blood centers in Vancouver WA are some of our heroes we celebrate with this blood drive. Solomon has chosen the goal of 180 units of blood, as a Jew, any multiple of 18 is a significant number, 18 is the numerical value of the Hebrew word for “life” and 10 times life is a good thing.
