Ron received more blood transfusions than I could count! He relied on the blood and platelets donated by others to live on and fight another day. By the end, it was all that was keeping him alive. He and I were flooded with gratitude to the donors over and over again because they gave us a gift we can never repay. We can pay it forward now and give another day to someone else who will be flooded with gratitude that a person they don’t know changed their life.
