Join By Light and pledge to give blood for those who need it most!
Approximately 36,000 units of red blood cells are needed every day in the U.S. But for the past four years, new Red Cross blood donors have declined by about 80,000 each year, especially during COVID.
Patients undergoing surgeries, cancer treatment, chronic illnesses, and traumatic injuries need your donation now, so we’re asking all our employees, family members, and friends to join us in pledging to give blood in your area. Simply one donation can potentially save up to three lives.
Our goal is to reach 125 pledges by October 1, 2021. Make and keep an appointment today to give blood to the American Red Cross. Simply select the pledge button on the right and enter your zip code to find all blood donation opportunities near you.
All participants will be entered in a raffle to win a gift card for a local restaurant! If you are a By Light Cigna participant, you may also register this activity for a $25 award through the MotivateMe program.
