Let’s get our sleeves up to donate blood!
Did you know that cancer patients use nearly 1/4 of the blood supply? Receiving blood transfusions is an essential part of going through cancer treatment. When you donate blood or platelets you’re helping cancer patients receive the lifesaving care they need. Keith was fortunate to receive blood products (mostly platelets) several times throughout his treatment for T-Cell ALL.
We set up this virtual blood drive to encourage our family, friends, teammates, and colleagues to donate blood in memory of Keith and in honor of all of the patients who desperately need blood and blood products.
If you haven’t donated yet or in a while, you won’t believe how easy it is these days! There’s even an app to make check in even faster, and you can track to see where your blood ends up! The American Red Cross offers many locations, so you can select the “Pledge to give blood” button and find a site near you on a convenient date. Sign up today if you can help us celebrate Keith and all of those who are currently in cancer treatment.

Even if you are unable to donate, please send the link to this page to your own family, friends, and colleagues and let’s see how far we can surpass the 90 donors!

Details are posted below. I realize many of you may have already donated locally after you signed up for the Sleeves Up campaign was announced. Not to worry! There is such a dire need for blood that your donation will be put to use by the time this other drive comes around. You are still giving in honor of Keith, and we so appreciate you! Also, no worries if you can’t give blood…just spread the word! That’s a bigger help than you may realize!
