Joshua Eargle Memorial Blood Drive

15 /30

Hartford Seminary has organized this virtual blood drive to remember the life of a beloved student, Joshua Wayne Eargle, 23, who died unexpectedly in July 2019.

Joshua was a full-time student at Hartford Seminary in our Master of Arts in Religious Studies program. As an adult, he made a commitment to give blood every month and was proud to have donated over a gallon.

To honor that commitment, Hartford Seminary is asking Joshua’s wonderfully diverse family and friends to support a blood drive in their community any time between Nov. 1, 2019 and Dec. 31, 2019. Please make an appointment to donate blood through this website so that your donation can be listed as a memorial gift in Joshua’s name. Students, staff, faculty, and friends in Hartford, as well as Joshua’s immediate family, will be participating in a blood drive at UConn School of Law on Tuesday, Nov. 12, 2019, scheduled for 12 p.m. to 5 p.m. Search blood drives on this site for UConnLaw to sign up, or search for a blood drive in your community by zip code.

Blood donors help patients of all ages with all different kinds of need, and one donation can potentially save up to three lives. A single car accident victim, for example, can require as many as 100 pints of blood. Your donation is a priceless gift that will honor Joshua’s memory.

If you live in an area that does not use the Red Cross to collect blood, you can still donate through this virtual blood drive. Please contact Peter Boucher of the Red Cross ([email protected]) with any questions, and thank you!
