In lieu of the Spring Blood Drive, Visions is stepping up to host our very first virtual blood drive campaign called ‘SleevesUp’ during the month of June!
What’s a virtual blood drive you ask?
A virtual blood drive is an online campaign that helps you to show your passion and commitment to blood donation.
It won’t be completely virtual – not until blood can be drawn over the internet! Our campaign will provide the necessary information and encouragement to pledge to donate blood at the location most convenient for you. Together, we can make a tremendous impact.
It’s Easy!
1. Find & schedule an appointment at your nearest blood drive by visiting www.redcrossblood.org/give.html/find-drive
2. Return to this page to pledge your support.
3. Share and engage photos of your experience with your friends & family – show us your rad band-aid! Use social media hashtags #VFCUSleevesUP and #VisionsCares or via email to [email protected].
4. Wait, there’s more! Monday, June 15th – Tuesday, June 23rd check out the Real Heroes Event on the Red Cross Western NY Facebook page (@redcrosswny). The Red Cross will honor blood donor heroes by sharing their stories across all of their social media platforms. Visions will be featured as the Blood Donor Award Sponsor in a post on June 16th.
