Blood is life. For leukemia patients undergoing chemo, many transfusions are essential with each cycle. For patients like Jacob who have developed antibodies, the search becomes more difficult to find a match. We are hopeful through this campaign to increase the supply here in St. Louis so there is a chance of them finding a match for him more quickly. Even if your blood is not a match for him, it will benefit other patients who really need it also.
