IBM’s Week of Impact is October 4-8 with the goal of strengthening our relationships and giving back to our communities. This year the Postal team is hosting a virtual blood drive to encourage our team to roll up their sleeves to give the lifesaving gift of blood.
Every two seconds, someone in the United States needs blood, including accident and burn victims, heart surgery and organ transplant patients, and patients receiving treatment for leukemia, cancer or sickle cell disease. The Red Cross is currently experiencing a national blood shortage, partly because only about 3% of age-eligible people donate blood yearly. Please pledge your support!
