Our singing sister Kathy Troyer has received many blood transfusions in her long battle with cancer. Several months ago after a lifegiving blood transfusion, she requested that all who could give blood do so in order to help others with similar needs.
To honor her request, I’m hosting a SleevesUp virtual blood drive and asking friends and family to pledge to give blood in the next 60 days. Together, we’ll track our pledges, cheer each other on, and, most importantly, provide a lifesaving gift for patients in need.
