Giving Back for Pop Tommy

3 /25

On October 6, 2016 my Dad, Tommy Faucette passed away after a 20 month battle with Leukemia. While battling his disease, my Dad received around 80 blood transfusions. Without these transfusions my Dad would not have had as much time with us as he did. In order to help give back and to keep my Dad’s memory alive, I am working with the American Red Cross and Be the Match to organize a blood and bone marrow registry drive in my Dad’s honor.

Many of you have asked what you can do to help me through this difficult time so I am asking that you donate blood in honor of my Dad. Each donation could save up to 3 lives and will allow people more time with their loved ones.

One blood donation can help save up to three lives. That means a lot to patients in need, but it took on a new meaning recently.

Without volunteer blood donors, our story might have had a different ending. Help me reach my goal and ensure that patients receive the life saving blood they need. Make and keep an appointment to give blood to the American Red Cross.
