Recently one of my neighbors started a neighborhood FaceBook page to give a place for our neighborhood to raise awareness and assistance for those less fortunate. When my mom told me about the new neighborhood "program" I wanted to do something to help out.
I have seen my mom donate blood many times and always thought, "I can hardly wait until I am old enough to give blood!" Well, I am still too young to give blood, but I am not too young to host a virtual blood drive. Please consider donating blood in support of my, your’s, and other communities. The blood you donate just may save someone you love.
As you consider donating, remember one blood donation can help save up to three lives. Help me reach my goal and ensure that people receive the life saving blood they need. Make and keep an appointment to give blood to the American Red Cross.
