In past years, our employees under our partner “BASF” have donated their time and blood to the Red Cross. Now, under the new ownership of “Solenis International” Headquartered out of Wilmington, DE., we want to continue the tradition of connecting and supporting our local community along with the long partnership of the Red Cross at our Suffolk, Virginia site.

”The American Red Cross mission is to prevents and alleviates human suffering in the face of emergencies by mobilizing the power of volunteers and the generosity of donors. Every day, blood donors help patients of all ages: accident and burn victims, heart surgery and organ transplant patients, and those battling cancer. In fact, every two seconds, someone in the U.S. needs blood. Here are just a few of their stories.

2018 Red Cross we vital in providing help and support for families during: Hurricane Florence; Hurricane Michael; 2018 California Wildfires and provides resources to help the officer’s family and co-workers are left to cope with the loss – rebuild their lives. This year, we are joining forces with the American Red Cross to help those in need. Together, we will increase awareness of the importance of blood collections and to help encourage members and the community to donate blood. The Red Cross has to collect 15,000 blood donations every day to have enough blood to help patients in 2,700 hospitals and transfusion centers across the country. That’s a lot of patients in need and all of us, coming together, can help ensure patients receive lifesaving blood.
